The trick that keeps an open bottle cold for up to three hours — and it never goes back in the fridge.

Every trick, judged on one question
Does the cold reach the wine after the bottle is open?

Cold from outside has to get through the glass and hope the wine notices. Cold that starts in the middle of the wine has no distance to travel. A frozen piece of steel standing in the bottle pulls the warmth out of the centre, and steel gives its cold back slowly, so the bottle holds instead of warming from the outside in.
