Why it works

Cold wine, nothing watered down

Frozen steel takes a few degrees off a poured glass and holds an already-cold glass cold for roughly fifteen to twenty minutes. It is a chiller, not a fridge, so it will not turn a room-temperature glass ice-cold. What it will never do is melt into your wine, so the last mouthful tastes like the first.

How cold do they actually make the wine?

They are a chiller, not a fridge. Dropped into a glass that is already cold, they hold that cold in place. It won't rescue a warm box, and I'd assumed it would

Start bigger than I did
