Was snapping about one cork in four with my old waiter's friend. Not one since this turned up. Comes up in one piece even on the dry old ones.
Timed it because my brother in law didn't believe me. Five seconds from flipping the cap to the cork sitting on the needle, and there's a small hiss right before it lets go. He's ordered one.
Didn't clock that the cap was a blade until I flipped it open, so watch your thumb the first go. It takes the foil off in one turn round, which is more than the little knife I was using before ever managed.
